Engineer James Otieno is a devoted Technical Manager, with more than 10 years of experience in the water and wastewater utility sector. He has undertaken and overseen several projects in the conception, installation, operationalization, monitoring and evaluation of water and wastewater service provision both in the public and private sector. As a key member of the Technical and Operations team of HOMAWASCO, James is currently overseeing projects geared towards improving the Utility’s operational efficiency, innovations to modernize our water networks, and to ensure Last-Mile (Meter) Connectivity within all our areas of service coverage. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Water Engineering and is recognized in the sector for technological innovativeness in solving our clients’ most complex problems. James is also keen on sustainable energy alternatives for water service provision, which he pursues with zeal.
