The Managing Director of Homa Bay Water and Sanitation Company (HOMAWASCO), Thomas Nyonje, today led a hands-on inspection of ongoing borehole drilling in Sugnam and Nam Forest, a major intervention aimed at boosting water supply to Ndhiwa Municipality.
The borehole drilling project, being undertaken in partnership with the Lake Victoria Basin Water Works Development Agency, marks a significant step toward increasing water production and ensuring a more reliable, sustainable supply for households, businesses, and institutions across Ndhiwa.
This collaboration demonstrates a shared commitment to expanding access to clean and safe water while addressing the rising demand within the municipality.
During the inspection, the Managing Director emphasized the importance of quality workmanship, timely completion, and sustainability to guarantee long-term benefits for residents.
He later passed by the Ndhiwa Ablution Block to assess its operational status, reaffirming HOMAWASCO’s dedication not only to water supply but also to improved sanitation services.
